Is YouTube Translate really free?
Yes. The app is free to download and free to use day-to-day. Free users get a daily credit allowance for AI translations and summaries; subtitle viewing on captioned videos is always free, with no limit.
What's the Premium subscription price?
Premium pricing is set by Apple App Store and Google Play and varies by region — the exact monthly and annual prices, plus the trial length, show up in the app when you tap Upgrade. Both stores localize automatically to your country and currency. We don't pin a specific number here because subscription prices can change.
Do I have to subscribe to try Premium?
No. New Premium subscribers get a free trial (typically 3-7 days depending on region). Cancel during the trial and you won't be charged.
How do I cancel?
Cancel through the App Store (iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or Google Play (Subscriptions). Your Premium access stays active through the end of the current billing period.
Does Premium work on both iOS and Android?
Yes — one subscription covers both platforms, as long as you sign in with the same account. No need to buy Premium twice.
What happens when I run out of free credits?
The credit allowance resets daily. If you regularly hit the cap, Premium removes it entirely. For occasional users, the free tier is usually plenty.
Are there refunds?
Apple and Google both handle refunds via their own store policies — Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, Google in the Play Store. For edge cases, email us at yayappsltd@gmail.com.
Will the price ever change?
If we change the Premium price, existing subscribers keep their current rate at renewal. Any price change applies only to new subscribers.
